Ariana Hajibashi established adastra public relations, Inc. with the goal of creating public relations programs for a select and limited group of lifestyle clients. Bringing more than a decade of experience in communications, special events and community relations for a broad range of industries including hospitality, travel and tourism, consumer products, non-profit and business to business, Hajibashi manages and oversees the development and execution of all programs for the agency. Hajibashi's deep understanding of media and ability to develop media-genic stories for any client allow her to develop long-term relationships with key media, whether it be local or national, consumer or trade.

 

Prior to establishing her own company, Hajibashi served as Senior Account Supervisor for McCrory & Associates where she was instrumental in new business development, managed the day-to-day activities and led the development and execution of programs for clients such as the Wyndham Bermuda Resort & Spa, Double Diamond, Fogo de Chao, Horseshoe Bay Resort Marriott, Lawry’s the Prime Rib, Tin Star and Martini Park. Hajibashi also gained an extensive knowledge of public relations practices where she served as an account executive for Edelman's local consumer/travel & tourism practices. She represented a broad range of companies including Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (meetings and technology, individual properties, Viva resorts and the extended-stay line), MetroPCS, Home Depot, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Texas Beef Council. Known for her media relations prowess, Hajibashi had been instrumental in tripling Home Depot's media coverage in 25 Southwest markets to 608 total segments for 2002, reaching more than 27.6 million viewers. The campaign was nominated and won a Bronze Anvil. Hajibashi executed a successful summer grilling campaign for the Texas Beef Council, garnering television coverage in 15 key Texas markets. In 2002, she spearheaded the San Antonio launch event for Wyndham's revolutionary offer to its Wyndham ByRequest members - free, unlimited local and long distance calls, free high-speed Internet access and free copying and faxing privileges. The initiative, which began in New York and spanned 11 total markets, landed the front page of USA Today, garnered nearly 123 million media impressions, generated the largest membership enrollment in Wyndham ByRequest history, spawned the highest traffic ever to wyndham.com and won a number of industry awards.

 

Hajibashi has developed strong relationships with top- tier trade, business, local print and broadcast media resulting in coverage for clients in publications including, Destination Wedding & Honeymoons, Caribbean Travel & Life, The New York Times, New York Daily News, USA Today, Dallas Morning News, Dallas Business Journal, Austin American-Statesman, Austin Business Journal, Esquire, HOTELS, Hotel & Motel Management. Broadcast results include “The Early Show” on CBS, “Today Show” on NBC, “Iron Chef America” on Food Network, “Top Chef” on Bravo as well as local/regional ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates.

 

A native of Dallas, Hajibashi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from The University of Texas.
